Shadow magic is the art of concealment, uncertainty, and the spaces between what is known and what is seen. Its practitioners command darkness, dreams, and the strange geometry of shadow—obscuring sight, displacing creatures, twisting perception, and stepping through spaces that should not connect. Shadow spells favor deception and unconventional battlefield control, rewarding mages who approach problems from unexpected directions.
At its gentlest, Shadow conceals, shelters, and provides passage where none should exist. At its most dangerous, it reaches into nightmares and the unknowable darkness lurking beyond ordinary perception. Shadow is not evil. It is simply what remains when the light can no longer show us the way.
