Endless Battle! - 終わらない戦い (Owaranai Tatakai)

Greetings! If you are finding your way here, you are either a team member or very lucky! Below, we have preview/proofreading/beta testing galleries for the Endless Battle TCG system. The game’s expansions will be organized into “seasons” as if this were an actual anime (all part of the running gag).

Season 1 “Hero or Harem?”

Season 1 includes our first three Isekai Heroes and first three world factions:

  • Aurelia, Arcane Goddess leads the Arcane College.

  • Caden, Sword Saint of the North leads the Northlands Clans.

  • Lysander, Shadowveil Trickster leads the Blackstone Horde.

Season 2 “Tides of Conquest”

Season 2 includes our three new Isekai Heroes and three new world factions:

  • Liraeth, Pirate Queen leads the Dread Sea Pirates.

  • The King of the Jungle leads the Lost Tribe and their horde of jungle monsters.

  • Vladimir, Vampyr Lord leads the Rattlebone Legion and other monstrosities.

What is this?

Endless Battle is a trading card game (TCG) with a cheeky, ironic, and fun anime style. The game pokes fun at the gacha game genre, isekai, and harem anime. Lots of tongue-in-cheek humor, puns, and a lot of fan service. At the same time, we balance humor with action and excitement. You play as Heroes who summon collectible waifus, recruit followers, and accumulate other summonable items. The game is set in the fantasy realm of Tienthylandria, a world of high adventure, larger-than-life heroes, and infinite exploration.

Is this game part of Advanced Armory?

Yes and no.

  1. YES. These two systems share art assets and language and are both set in the same narrative world (Tienthylandria) as Advanced Armory. There is a lot of cross-pollination with AA, including using our Battle Dice. Homebrewers will find it fairly easy to mix their gaming assets using card sleeves and a little imagination.

  2. NO. As the game matured, we realized there were a lot of board game mechanics that were too complex for a card game. We had to sacrifice some of AA’s mechanics or rework them to serve the new game. As of now, as we move into playtesting, these are now separate games.

When is this game coming out? Where can I get it?

This game is still in development and is not yet available. If you are asking this question already, that is a great sign! Girot does some incredible work, particularly for prototype cards. I mean, omg. We are very spoiled. With some hard work and a boatload of luck, we hope to get this game a real manufacturing run once it’s ready. Also, if you are here reading this, you should understand that this is not a product page but rather a workspace.

How can I get involved and/or stay informed?

You can follow us on Facebook and/or join our Discord. Once we’ve gotten our rulebook finished, we’ll get a lot more active on social media. For now, we are quietly playtesting in the background while we work on Advanced Armory’s first wave for 2025.

Does this game contain AI assets?

Yes, most of our character, spell, and skill art is carefully generated using ChatGPT. Of all of the generators out there, this one is the most careful and restrictive. It’s a bear to work with sometimes, but with patience, skill, and a little luck, we have been able to create some fun image. Everything else, from card layouts to game mechanics to narrative content is all produced in-house or licensed responsibly.

Why use AI at all?

Because prototyping. Finding investors for a card game without art on the cards is impossible. When one is developing a new game system literally on lunch money, we don’t exactly have the liquidity to pay tens of thousands of dollars upfront for professional artists. If the game takes off, we should be able to recruit real artists to bring our characters to life properly in the future. For now, we press on with the assets we have.
